I loved the focus on hockey and how high the stakes can get when sports and teenagers are involved. It deals with some sensitive subject matter but was well worth the read. I'm hoping to read the second book in the series, Us Against You at some point this year.  5 out of 5 stars. 2021 PopSugar Reading Challenge

Image
I first learned of the PopSugar Reading Challenge last year but it seemed like too big of an undertaking at the time so I decided to skip it. I set a modest goal of 15 or 20 books on my Goodreads and well... then 2020 happened. I've done a ton of reading this year. I love tv and movies, a little too much, but reading is and will forever be one of my favorite hobbies. At some point, I adjusted my reading goal to 30 books, which I have completed just under the wire. The excitement online when PopSugar released the 2021 prompts was all I needed and I'm really looking forward to the challenge.  I have several options for each prompt selected but plan to choose which book as I go.  My secondary goal is write up and share a short review for each book I complete this year.  Here goes nothing!
