I absolutely loved Finlay Donovan is Killing It so it came as no surprise that Finlay Donovan Knocks 'Em Dead was another home run for me. Someone wants Steven Donovan dead and Finlay and Vero are back and up to more insane antics, the hot cop and the lawyer and still circling, and there are no shortage of surprises. There were enough predictable moments that led me to believe I had it all figured out… spoiler alert: I did not! At times sweet, emotional, shocking, and laugh-out-loud funny - this was a fun story that leaves you wanting more!!  Angela Dawe is truly a master at her craft and it makes all the difference in the listening experience. I read the first book and listened to the second, which was a fun way to revisit Finlay in all her messy glory!  Thank you to NetGalley and Macmillan Audio for the opportunity to listen to the book early.
